About Elizabeth |
I'm an experienced freelance writer specializing in art, architecture, urban design, literature and music. A mixed bag? Sure. In writing, anything is possible. I write fun and informative articles about art, architecture, and literature for sources such as mental_floss. My second book, Secret Lives of Great Composers, was released in Fall 2009 by Quirk Books. It has been reviewed by newspapers from Ohio to Oregon and featured on radio stations including KERA in Dallas/Fort Worth, KUT in Austin and nationally on PRI's Here and Now. My first book, Secret Lives of the Artists: What Your Teachers Never Told You About Master Painters and Sculptors, was released in the Fall of 2008. In addition, I have more than ten years of experience writing about the architecture and urban design industry, with articles appearing in publications such as Architectural Record, Urban Land and Planning. I've also written about a wide range of other topics from contemporary literature to wastewater management, and once you've written about wastewater management, you can write about anything. |
